Hello world. Been quiet lately, mostly because just been crazy busy on summer stuff, then went on vacation to a land where things are a lot more sane than my home turf.
Just wanted to share some exciting new projects on the horizon, now that I’ve had some downtime to recuperate. I’ll be launching a mini-podcast about coffee shops in my neighborhood, as part of a week-long coffee crawl to promote locally owned stores. The goal is to record at least one episode per day from each cafe. Here’s a map I create of the locales.
I also made an intro audio clip giving some more context behind the project.
Next up is a fall maker’s market on October 18th that I’m producing for a neighborhood arts organization. I’m hoping to add a creative element that blends a traditional vendor fair with a variety show featuring musicians, comedians, and short films. Super excited for the opportunity!
Working hyper-locally and on neighborhood-focused projects has been my jam of late. In my professional life, things are also looking upwards with the launch of the first statewide computer science tournament. Lots of events this fall!
